PROLIX reduces the time2competency within organisations under the aspect that human resources are the European Union’s main asset.

The PROLIX project will have a high technology innovation and product impact through various innovations, preliminary products in the sense of prototypes and service-oriented software components that will come out of the project or be developed after the project. Although working in symphony in the PROLIX systems, they can however be used as stand-alone modules. These components could be offered after the project as products:

1. Process Cockpit for Competency Management and Training

2. Competency Analyzer and Semantic Matching Engine

3. Didactical Learning Modeller

4. Learning Process Configurator

5. Competency-oriented Process Simulator

6. Learning Process Execution Plat form as Open Integration Plat form to execute PROLIX components

7. Performance Monitor

8. Validation (ASP) services

9. Context Ontology

PROLIX will make its methodologies and results available to learning industry by developing an open reference architecture for process-oriented learning (OBELIX). This reference architecture delivers answers on how business processes define the requirements for “context-sensitive” learning. The architecture specification and results of PROLIX will be the first practical implementation of the open reference architecture OBELIX.

What are the advantages to register to the OBELIX community?

Members of the OBELIX community will have the opportunity to exploit the PROLIX services for the access to a large network of learning repositories that will provide respective learning material.

Joining OBELIX will provide the possibility for members to use PROLIX results or integrate their applications into the overall approach. In addition OBELIX members will have access to a set of documentation not visible to the general public.

Everybody can register. However, the main target is represented by learning technology vendors as well as business management technology providers.
